By Our Staff Reporter

Bhopal, Apr 12: Shooting up of temperature during day and night is expected to break all previous records. Every day the mercury is shooting up by one to two degrees Celsius. During the last five days, the temperature has been going up and it reached about 41 degree Celsius today, an increase of 5 degree Celsius. Experts feel that the day temperature may reach 44 degree Celsius in April to break all previous records.

At the beginning of the month, the atmosphere was cloudy for two-three days. Now there is no trace of clouds. During those days, the temperature had come down considerably due to intermittent rains. The sudden change in the season made the people to wonder whether the mother nature skipped the summer season - April and May this year. Now the reverse of it is happening. With 40.8 degree Celsius, today is the hottest day of the season in the state capital. This is 4 degree Celsius more than the normal. Within one day, the day temperature has gone up by 2 degree Celsius. The minimum temperature recorded last night at 22.2 is only 2 Degree Celsius more than the normal. Though it has started feeling hot at night also.

The people have started feeling the temperature now - whether day or night. If no wind, people start perspiring in the morning itself. It is not possible to stand in the sun during the day. Weather specialist Dr. DP Dubey said that there is no possibility of any relief from the heat condition during the next few days. Instead, he warned, the temperature may go up to 44 degree Celsius before the end of the month.

It is not the condition in the state capital only. Heat wave is prevailing in the whole state these days. During the last 24 hours, maximum temperature in the state, 42 Degree Celsius, was recorded at Shajapur. In other places in the state, the temperature was above 40 Degree Celsius.
