Sensex ends higher by 112 points 

Mumbai, April 11:
The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex on Friday gained nearly 112 points on buying support across sectors which was triggered by better than expected industrial growth data.
 
India registers 272.87 mn telephone users 

New Delhi, April 11:
India has registered a total telecom subscriber base of 272.87 million for the quarter ending December 2007 as against 248.65 million for the quarter ending September 2007, shows the data released by the sector regulator.
 
US PIZZA, Royal Eateries tie up

As a part of its expansion Programme, the leading Indian pizza brand, US Pizza Restaurants Limited today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Royal Eateries for setting up 20 outlets in Saurashtra by 2011.
 
Yes Bank looking at two pvt banks for acquisition 

Mumbai, April 11:
Private sector lender Yes Bank has zeroed in on two banks as possible acquisition targets and could execute the buy-out in the next 18-24 months, a top bank official said.
 
Exports from SEZs may touch Rs 125,000cr 

New Delhi, April 11:
The government today said the exports from Special Economic Zones (SEZs) are expected to touch Rs 1,25,000 crore during 2008-09, an increase of more than 86 per cent over the last fiscal.
