The programme was divided into three parts - techno-search, sports mania and Mafic series. In the techno-search competition about 2000 students participated, meanwhile in the Mafic activities 80 students participated that stretched for four days. Besides students exhibited their excellent performance in cultural activities, fashion show, modelling, roadies and above all every one enjoyed band and DJ night.

Techno-search competitions were running out of time, till late nights for four days. In the out door activities of sport cricket, football, volleyball and basket ball were organised, in door competition snooker, roadies and crime scene were the special point of attraction. In nutshell the four-day programme was stimulating and breathtaking and memorable for participants, coordinators and professors. We have discussed with students and teachers about their experience of these four days.

Whole function was organised and managed by students only, we rendered our guidance occasionally. Above all we did not confronted any mishap during the function. This function brought name to our institute.

Dr Ashok Mittal, applied chemistry department head said, we believe, in the age of competition such kind of competitions play vital role to make student active and increase sportsmanship in them to face difficulties of life like just competition. We believe every student is unique and pregnant with some special qualities, to expose his inborn talent, besides the quality education appropriate platform is also needed. So it was our small experiment to give platform to students. During this programme, we just encouraged students and polished their confidence. Such kinds of programmes are important for the over all development of students character. I appreciate such kind of programmes.

Tanumaya Chakrawati coordinator and event executive member said that Event-2008 started and finished up before we realise some thing about it. This was special function for us, which gave opportunity to examine our own qualities. He added that he has done his best to coordinate with students and organised his activity without any hindrance. Every thing was possible because of our teachers' valuable guidance.

Sharmi Haldar, third semester, IT branch student said, this was memorable experience for us, even I will quote as golden days of my life.
