Bhopal, Apr 10: An engineer when refused to give money for consuming liquor to an auto driver and his companions, was attempted to murder with sharp weapons.

According to Shahpura police, Sunoj Mishra(28), resident of 327, Aditi Apartment, Trilochan Nagar is an engineer in a private company. Yesterday night he was talking with his friends at Trilanga Square.

Meanwhile, an autorickshaw driver, Bharat demanded money for consuming liquor to him.

When Sunej refused to give money then Bharat along with his companions attacked him with sword and fled.

Sunej was admitted in a private hospital in serious condition. Police have registered case under section 307 and searching the accused.
