Bhopal, Apr 8: Who wouldn't like to eat tasty food? Home cooked food is the best and tasty. But often, one would like to eat outside to change the taste, vegetarian or non-vegetarian. Taste of hotel food is really different. The taste of cuisine of North Kashmir is altogether unique.

If you like the Kashmiri cuisine, then the best place is Hotel Jehan Numa Palace. In this hotel, they are organising 'Balti Food Festival' where different type of food with entirely different and yummy tasty food are served. We have organised the 'Balty Food Festival' in the Hotel. The name of the festival itself suggests that the dishes served are famous in Balti, North Kashmir. We organise food festivals in this Hotel frequently - within a span of three-four months. During these festivals, we serve famous dishes of different towns and places. At the present festival, different types of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes of North Kashmir, particularly of Balti, are served. For this purpose we have invited chefs from North Kashmir itself. Food prepared by these chefs are liked very much by foreigners too. We thought the Bhopalites should have a chance to taste these mouth-watering dishes.

I can prepare all sorts of food. But I am specialist in preparing the dishes of North Kashmir. I have come here to taste Bhopalites the excellent taste of dishes of Balti. I cook the famous dishes like 'Badami balti', 'Fish Fry', 'Gosh Balti Biryani', 'Nali Gosh','Balti Chicken', 'Fish Jeera Balti'. In vegetarian category, 'Dum Balti','Ratloo Balti', 'Paneer Moti' 'Nadroo Palak Balti', and 'Bhindi Musallam' are some of the dishes famous in Balti which I cook here. I am in the field for about 15 years. I have been invited to places like Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Hyderabad, and countries like England (London) and Malysia and cooked the famous Balti dishes there.

I have come to this food festival to eat the special food. I liked the North Kashmiri food served here. When I got a little free time from my busy studies, I thought of having something special. Hence I am here with my friends.
