3 IAS officers tranferred

Bhopal, April 8: The state government has transferred three principal secretaries. MK Rai, principal secretary, food, civil supplies and consumer protection, has now been shifted to the department of backward class and minorities welfare. Principal secretary MK Goel, backward classes and minorities welfare has been made member of State Revenue Board (services has been given to finance department). Likewise, KP Singh, Commissioner - cum director, food, civil supplies and consumer protection has been made secretary - cum - additional commissioner of the same department.

SAIL to start steel processint unit at Ujjain

Bhopal, April 8: The Steel Authority of India (SAIL) is expected to set up a steel processing unit at village Bandka in Ghatia tehsil of Ujjain district soon. Moreover, medium size industries like Srinivas Pet, Krishna Oil and Proteins and Virat Infusion Pvt Ltd are expected to start production in the near future. Rs 260 crore is being invested in these units and 1000 persons are expected to get employment. During the last financial year, Rs. 210 was invested in Ujjain district for setting up of different industrial units. In these units, around 1700 persons have benefited with employment.
