Tech converted into creativity

Bhopal, Apr 7: There is a lot of difference between the theorotical and practical knowledge. The students have to work hard throughout the year for practical and creative knowledge. It is a different matter when the students uses their theory and practical knowledge into some special activity.

The occasion was the annual day function at Scope College - Spirit 2008. One could see the interest spirit among the students to make the event a great success. On this occasion some students tried to use their knowledge into something different.

Under 'Robotiks' the students made different type of Robots. They made these Robots with a view to help during the war and for use in space programmes. Under literary activities, the students also read their poems and other writings before the audience. The students who studies engineering have participated in cultural activities too. Some students were singers while others were interested in drama and dance.

Dr. C V Raman University vice chancellor Santosh Choubey was the chief guest while Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwa Vidyalaya Dean Dr. S L Verma was the special guest.

Bhopal Today Team talked to some teachers and students. And what they said -

Miss Rajni Iyer, student, Scope College, Bhopal says she has presented a paper on Nano technic, which is related to atom theory. I'm very happy that I have participated. It is really intersting to convert the technical knowledge into a creative activity.

Abhishek Kumar, student, Scope College,Bhopal says that participation in competitive activities helps one grow mentally as well as physically. 'I have manufactured a Robot with my technical knowledge. This Robot will be useful in near future during war time. I am interested to go for higher studies in robotic engineering', he said.

Reshmin Fatima, another student said that she has presented a paper on the subject related to the contribution to the country.

Priyank Gaur, Lecturer (electronic), Scope College says that to improve the technical knowledge is the main aim of the annual function. If the students come out of the question-answer mode and do some creative activities, it would definitely help them in their future career.

Gulab Singh, Dean, Electronics Department opined that the students' knowledge will improve only when they utilise their knowledge into proper creative activities. Our annual day function - Spirit 2008 - does help them in the right direction.
