BHEL-Haridwar FY08 turnover at Rs 2,658 cr  

New Delhi, Apr 5:
BHEL-Haridwar, arm of state-run Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, on Saturday posted a turnover of Rs 2,658 crore for the year 2007-08, showing a growth of 17 per cent over the previous year.
 
Mkt jittery over high inflation, Sensex dips 

Mumbai, Apr 5:
The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex shed 6.28 per cent in the opening week of the new fiscal as rising inflation and a new accounting norm made investors jittery amid continued fears of a US recession.
 
Crude factor: Oil firms' revenue loss may rise 68% 

New Delhi, Apr 5:
State-run oil retailers are likely to see revenue loss on fuel sales rise by 68% to a whopping Rs 130,000 crore during the current financial year as international crude oil prices continue over $100 a barrel mark.
 
Cautious approach needed on FTA with China: Assocham  

New Delhi, Apr 5:
India should be cautious while signing free trade agreements (FTAs), especially with China as it could affect the interest of domestic industry, a report released by industry chamber Assocham said today.

Singapore, Apr 5:
With the the aim of increasing tourist arrivals, India plans to introduce visa on arrival facility for foreigners, Tourism Minister Ambika Soni said here today.
