India, US dread China

George Fernandez, former Defence Minister and NDA convenor said that decision of the Vajpayee government to recognize Chinese sovereignty over Tibet in 2003 was an "error". He also said the NDA government's expulsion of then Pakistan high commissioner Ashraf Jahangir Qazi was "a mistake". The question one would like to ask him is whether he and the NDA can only do such errors/mistakes while in power and now when the ruling party did no such mistakes/errors still, under what moral authority he criticizes the UPA.

Yes, it is a fact what China did in 1962 was a mistake and what it is doing now "ie encircling India from all sides too is pointer enough to castigate China as India's enemy No.1. But for that why only India should unilaterally boycott the Olympic torch when there are feeble protests from international community. And everyone is aware that China is dumping their goods everywhere and throughout the US in particular. Despite the US House Speaker Nancy Pelose's visit and meeting with the Dalai Lama in India, consequent to the current Lhasa imbroglio, no action to boycott Chinese goods by the US is forthcoming as yet. So, not only India but the US too fears China. Isn't it Mr. Fernandez?
