BJS demands more security for Uma Bharti

By Our Staff Reporter

Bhopal, Apr 5: Bharatiya Janshakti (BJS) today sought tight security cover for Party chief Uma Bharti who was facing threat to her life from certain divisive forces.

''In this regard a party's delegation has given a memorandum to Governor Balram Jakhar today,'' BJS Madhya Pradesh unit President Ashok Tripathi told reporters here today, adding that Dr Jakhar had assured to hold a discussion with the state government.

He said in the wake of arrest of members of banned Student of Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) it had come to know that country's 10

Hinduist leaders were in their hit list. This includes Ms Bharti, who was the sole leader from Madhya Pradesh in the hit list.

Keeping this in view, state government shall enhance security cover to former chief minister.
