Mbeki urges parties to accept election outcome  

Durban, Apr 4:
South African President, Thabo Mbeki, has urged all parties in Zimbabwe to accept the outcome of the elections in that country. Mbeki was speaking in Pretoria after bi-national talks between officials of the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Africa.
 
Americans believe US ready for a black President  

New York, Apr 4:
In more good news for Presidential hopeful Barack Obama, the number of Americans who believe that the country is ready for a black president has risen to 76 per cent, up 14 percentage points since December last year.

Bangladesh and India have finalised all technical details, including schedule and fares, for the Dhaka-Kolkata passenger train service which is slated to resume from April 14 after a gap of four decades.
