Indore, Apr 4:
Three persons, including a woman, were on Friday arrested for allegedly renting their premises to the leaders of banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) in Indore and Khargone.
The Shyam Nagar residence here was taken by SIMI's Andhra Pradesh unit chief Qamaruddin Nagori from where police arrested top 13 leaders on March 27.
The house rented to them by Gaffar Khan Bakerywale was registered in the name of his daughter-in-law Shahnaz Bi.
Police arrested both Khan and Shahnaz for not providing information to the police about giving their house on rent which is a crime as per the law and is interrogating them.
Qamaruddin, who belongs to Ujjain also lived in the Muslim dominated Khajrana area of the city earlier, sources said.
In Khargone, one person was arrested for allegedly providing his farm house to the SIMI for running training camps and large number of explosives were recovered from here on April 2.
The person identified as Shahzad Hussein, belongs to Mhow town of Indore district.
At his farmhoue SIMI organised five training camps to train its activists, sources added.
