Rates for foreign tourists too high

Refer to the letter "Why to loot tourists at Taj?" (CC March 27, 2008). The rate for a foreign tourist it is too high. Remember every foreign tourist including Business tourist is not always a rich tourist and why to differentiate people on nationality basis. To attract more tourists and foreign exchange have minimum of their expenses of the total visit.

Further, why to have different rates of admission to our historical places and monuments for foreign visitors-our guests I do not approve of such a policy.

Luckily Indian Foreign Exchange reserves are at good figures now. And India can afford to attract more tourists by not insisting for dual (higher) fees -just because they are foreigners.
