Rahul Dravid joins 10,000 club 

After surpassing the 10,000 runs mark in Test match cricket,Rahul Dravid finds himself in distinguished company.Rahul Dravid has been a very useful member of the Indian cricket team ever since his debut and symbolises patience and determination at the batting crease. Other than Rahul,those players who have crossed 10000 runs or more are Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, Allan Border, Steve Waugh and Sunil Manohar Gavaskar.

Rahul Dravid becomes the third Indian after Sachin Tendulkar and Sunil Gavaskar to have crossed the 10,000 run mark.The other batsmen ahead of Rahul Dravid are Brian Lara with 11912 runs in 130 Tests,Sachin with 11782 runs,Allan Border with 11174 runs from 156 Test matches,Steve Waugh with 10927 runs from 168 Tests and Sunil Gavaskar with 10122 runs from 125 Tests.
