Sehwag hits his 2nd triple hundred

Virender Sehwag has became the first Indian to hit two triple hundreds in the history of Test match cricket. His second triple hundred in Test matches, first one having come at Multan, Pakistan was the fastest triple hundred in the history of Test match cricket. Virender Sehwag's triple hundred at Chennai took him 278 balls, whereas the previous record of fastest triple hundred was in the name of Wally Hammond who hit his triple hundred in 355 balls.

Virender Sehwag also joins Brian Lara and Sir Donald Bradman to become only the third batsman to have hit two triple hundreds in the history of Test match cricket. This was incidentally first triple hundred recorded on Indian soil. Congratulations to Virender Sehwag on his sparkling and scintillating knock.
