Milk to become dearer: Milk producers have their woes

The Bhopal Dugdha Sahkari Sangh has expressed possibilities in increase of milk prices by Rs 2 per litre from April one. On Saturday, presenting the budget of Dugdha Sangha, such possibilities were expressed. The different milk societies of different districts the and milk producers, coming under Bhopal Dugdha Sangh, have demanded to increase prices of milk from April one. This is due to hike in price of cattle feed, maintenance of cattle feed plants and related items. The Sangh has also expressed its consent on this demand. Now, it is almost decided that milk prices would be increased by Rs 2 per litre. Milk is such a consumable product which is essential for everyone. Children, elderly persons, male, female, rich and poor all require milk. Patients and healthy persons also find the meal incomplete without milk. Moreover milk is used for tea to sweets. Rising prices of other commodities has bewildered the public. Moreover their problems are bound to increase with increase of milk price too by Rs 2 per litre. Though, production of milk has not been affected- its production has on the contrary increased in comparison to earlier times. The most important thing is that it is related to the health of common man. Better health cannot be imagined without it. In such a condition increase in milk prices is disturbing. Problem of milk producers should be solved. Only increasing prices could not be a solution. Finally, the Sangh has the responsibility of solving the problems of milk producers. Dugdha Sangh should find out different options so that the common people are also not burdened.
