Temple-stampede in MP |
| It refers to deaths due to stampede now at Mata Karauli Temple in Madhya Pradesh because of Rangpanchmi rush. Considering such deaths due to stampede becoming a usual affair at some popular religious sites in the country, Union Government should immediately draw a plan to assist state governments in providing them funds and other assistance to widen the narrow paths leading to such famous and crowd-pulling religious sites. State-governments should be asked to submit details of such places with estimated public visiting these places on special occasions. A special monitoring cell can be set up in Union Ministry of Tourism & Culture for the purpose.
