Muhammad- prophet of
peace, piety |
| According to Quran, Muslims believe in all prophets of God as an article of faith. Hazrat Muhammad was the last prophet of God. He called the people to worship the only one God, to accept Him as last prophet and to lead a virtuous life based on his guidance and teachings. The Quran which was revealed to Him by God, claims to be the book of guidance for the entire mankind.
During 23 years, Hazrat Muhammad changed the entire Arabia from paganism and idolatry to worship of one God, from tribal wars to national unity, solidarity and peace, from drunkenness and debauchery to sobriety and piety, from corruption and moral bankruptcy to best standards of moral excellence.
Mahatma Phule, Mahatma Gandhi, MN Roy, Bernard Shaw etc had paid tributes to Hazrat Muhammad, peace be upon him.
