Make career in animation

Bhopal, March 27: Children are attracted towards animated characters for many years like Alice in the Wonderland, Mickey Mouse, Alladin etc. But in India the new definition of Animation is Little Hanuman. After that one upon one many animated have come. Slowly and slowly in Indian film Industry the magic of Animation are thus running. Like

Krish, Dhoom-2 or Strath visual effects movies not only attract animated movie lovers but also the youngsters. That is why there is boom of animation films in India and thus lakhs of Youngsters are seeking careers in this field. The magic city of animation has touched Bhopal also where every year many youngsters opting for animation as their careers and for pursuing this career there are many institutions including Maya, Boom, Nikita and Bimb etc. SR Basumalik of Maya Academy of advanced cinematics said that presently there is a boom in the animation industry even though a year ago there was not so much of craze.

Suresh Wakankar is pursuing diploma in Film Animation. According to him, this course is designed to be a professional course. The contents of the course are dynamic and are based upon the industry trends. Constant research is done by technical team to make sure that the students are offered the latest tutorials, software, techniques, methodologies, and are up to date with industry norms. Also, the course is not focused just on Animation, but on Animated filmmaking. Students are given workshops in screenwriting, storyboarding, sound design, editing, etc. to make sure that they understand the process of film making. This helps them choose their areas of emphasis and understand how to contribute best to the entire production pipeline.

Ankit Malhotra said that he chose animation as career because animation/design is one of the very few industries that can boast of starting salaries that are way above the industry average, and the analysts report says that this industry would be the next biggest boom in India after Information Technology.

According to Abha Gupta, after the success of Hanuman many other producers including Yash Chopra, Aditya Chopra and others have announced to make animated films. In fact, the success of 'Hanuman' has opened many doors for the animation film industry in India. That is why I am seeking career in this field, she added.
