Twelve-day Drama Festival would be organised under the joint aegis of "Rangadhar" Natya Sanstha in association with Culture Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh and Bharat Bhawan from March 27 to April 7, 2008 at Bharat Bhawan on the occasion of World Dram Day (Vishwa Rangmanch Diwas). On the occasion, famous plays of 12 prominent senior directors would be staged.
The Drama Festival would be inaugurated by the famous drama "Yahudi Ki Ladki", which would be directed by Sanjay Mehta on March 27 at 7 pm at Antarang Rangshala. The festival would ended by the famous play "Rajrakta", which would be directed by the famous senior dramatist Habib Tanwir on April 7, 2008. Ten Natya Sanstha of the state capital, and other Natya Sanstha of New Delhi and Jabapur would stage drama under this festival.
Yahudi Ki Ladki would be staged on March 27, which would be directed by Sanjay Mehta, Buddha in Showcase would be staged on March 28, which would be directed by Manoj Nair, Bhagwadjjukam would be staged on March 29, which would be directed by Aklakhnandan, Aranyadhipati Tantyamama would be staged on March 30, which would be directed by Bansi Kaul. Avare would be staged on March 31, which would be directed by Gopal Dubey, Panchtantra would be staged on April 1, which would be directed by Shantivardhan, Manbodh Babu would be staged on April 2, which would be directed by Basant Kashikar. Kuchh-Kuchh Khoya would be staged on April 3, which would be directed by Ashok Bulani.
Kuli Begar would be staged on April 4, which would be directed by Lokendra Trivedi, Razia Sultan would be staged on April 5, which would be directed by Nazir Qureshi, Sandhyachhaya would be staged on April 6, which would be directed by Rakesh Sethi, Rajrakta would be staged on April 7, which would be directed by Habib Tanwir.
