Memories of Holi are fresh

Bhopal, Mar 21: Everyone has huge collection of memories. But only a few of them might be still fresh in one's and one cannot easily wipe out from the memory of mind. Festival of Holi has great significant and colourful memories of this day are also unforgettable. Bhopal Today Team put down the memories of few people.

Archana Shrivastava, President, National Swarn Party. While becoming reminiscent about her past memories Archana said in my childhood my friends and me collected things from our neighbours and burn Holi.

The memories of my first Holi after my marriage are unforgettable. On the occasion of Holi my husband came to my mother's house. When the Holi started my husband was playing colours with my friends I feel very envy then. When I remember that incident I feel shy, I can not forget that Holi. All are invited for Holi on March 29 in Ayodhya Nagar.

Madhya Pradesh State Women Congress President Shobha Ojha said I like festival of Holi very much. Our whole family come together to celebrate Holi and this festival becomes worth to remember. In my childhood we used to drown my friends one by one in the tank of liquid colour.

I am very much enthusiastic about the Holi. Our family come together, along with elder member of family too and plays colour till late mid night.

Archana Sahaya, Director, Arambh Institute said I used to celebrate Holi with the students of Arambh Institute.

1988 Holi is unforgettable for me it was my last Holi in my mother's house. I enjoyed that Holi from the bottom of my heart. All the children of colony played colours from early morning to late evening.

That Holi was a farewell party for me. We all had dinner together. That was unforgettable Holi for me. This year, my daughter's examinations are finished and we planned to play colours with great enthusiasm.

Surendra Nath Singh, President BDA: Previously Holi was celebrated with great enthusiasm. All my friends come together at New Market and Samata Chouk and play colour for hours. Nowadays people celebrate Holi in house only.

Dr Vijay Agrawal, Director General PIB: I remember my Holi celebration in my hometown. I remember it was about 1967, then we mix colour in huge water tank and then jump in to that tank. I am witness of such Holi festival. When landlord Lal Saheb come then people used colour him.
