Holika procession to be taken out today

Bhopal, Mar 21: The festival of colours would be celebrated on Saturday under the aegis of Navyuvak Hindu Utsav Samiti. On the occasion procession of Holika would be taken out from Nehru Nagar Square and it would be reached at Khedapati Hanuman Mandir, New Market through various way. It was informed by the convenor of the Samiti Mukesh Rai, Deputy Leader of Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) here.

He said that the procession of Holika is being taken out since last ten years by Navyuvak Hindu Utsav Samiti. This year, the procession of Holika would be taken out on March 22 from Nehru Nagar at 10 am and it would be reached at Kotra Market, Shivshakti Hanuman Mandir, Ganga Nagar, Government Quarters, Shahid Smriti Vatika, Aradhana Nagar, Geetanjali Complex, Sanjay Complex, P&T Square, Shastri Nagar, Saraswati Nagar, Sunhari Bagh, Model Higher Secondary School, Katju Hospital, Rangmahal Square, Roshanpura Square, and Khedapati Hanuman Mandir, New Market.

In the way of procession of Holika, fruits, sweets, snacks, cold drinks etc would be distributed. The tableaue Krishna-Radhaji, Rang-Gulal, Band Party, Songs, Music, Folk Dances, etc colourful cultural programme will be the chief attraction of the procession.
