Inflation rises to 11-month high of 5.92%  

New Delhi Mar 20:
Inflation surged by 0.81% to over 11-month high of 5.92% for the week ended March 8 as essential items like fruits and vegetables and pulses as well as some manufactured items turned expensive.
 
BSNL gets permission to start CDMA services  

New Delhi Mar 20:
Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) has received permission to offer CDMA services across the country (except Delhi and Mumbai) under the cross over technology policy.
 
Govt to cut import duty on edible oils  

New Delhi, Mar 20:
The government is understood to have decided to slash import duties on edible oils to make them cheaper in the domestic market, as it seeks to moderate inflation, which stood at 11-month high of 5.92 per cent for the week ended March 8.
