Well-known Cricketer and all rounder cricket player of Indian Cricket Team Irphan Pathan visited the activities of Ankur Cricket Academy, Bus Stop Number 6, Shivaji Nagar. He reached at Ankur Cricket Academy at 11 am. The patron of the academy AS Singhdev and Coach Jyoti Prakash Tyagi informed about the activities of the cricket academy to Irphan Pathan.
Pathan took introduction from the growing cricket players of the state capital. He praised for the efforts and activities as well as facilities of the academy. He watched the bowling of growing players as Rajat Pandey, Abhishek Singh, Udai Sharma and Shekh Salman. He was felicitated by the large number of eminent personalities of the city. Ankur Cricket Academy felicitated by presenting memento. On the occasion, the senior Cricketers of the Academy Sanjay Modi, Rajeev Saxena, Ashish Taneja, Abhaya Goswami, Milind Sagitkar, Arun Singh and all the members of the academy and others were also present.
Iftekhar Cricket Academy
The all rounder cricketer of Indian Cricket Team Irphan Pathan inaugurated the 33rd Tata Indicom Iftekhar Memorial Cricket Championship on Thursday at Bab-E-Ali Sports Ground to free pigeons and fly balloons. On the occasion, Mayor of Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) Sunil Sood felicitated to Irphan Pathan by presenting memento, Shawl and Shrifal. After the Director of Sports and Youth Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh Sanjay Chaudhari (IPS) also felicitated to Irphan Pathan by presenting Shawl, Shrifal and Memmento. Former Sports Director Yashovardhan Azad welcomed Irphan Pathan.
On the occasion, Chairman of Bhopal Divisional Cricket Association, and Chairman of Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Dhruv Narayan Singh, Vice President of Madhya Pradesh Sports Council OM Yadav, Superintendent of Police, Bhopal District Jaydeep Prasad, Dr Shafkat Mohammad Khan and large number of eminent personalities were also present.
Ifphan Pathan congratulated the residents of the state capital for maintaining Green Bhopal. He said to the players that they must hard work for taking part in Indian Cricket Team and I hope that they would play towards Indian Cricket Team. The inaugural match was played between BDCA Chairman Eleven and Masters Eleven. BDCA Chairman Eleven team won the toss and took batting. Sunil Thakur, Shanti Jain, Iqbal Siddiqui, Suresh Chainani scored 19, 30, 22, 20 runs respectively and total scored 150 runs in selected 20 overs.
But in replay, Master Eleven team won the match by 6 wickets. Riyaz Khan and Hasan Ali scored 24 runs, Faisalmeer scored 73 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 8 boundaries, Mahendra Satokar and Hasan Ali scored 25 and 19 runs respectively. On the occasion, Sajid Noor, Jyoti Prakash Tyagi, Rautlala, Samad Dad, Idris Ahmed, Javed Ansari, Suraj Bagjai and large number of eminent personalities were also present.
