Bhopal Haat is offering a rich collection of summer wear. This has proved as a boon to Bhopalites. In the ongoing National Handloom Expo, weavers and skilled workers from more than a dozen states are participating. Weavers from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Bhadohi and Benaras are displaying their works of art. There are Saris and clothes for every age group, suiting one's requirement. One can see people thronging stalls displaying various items. Silk Saris of Uttar Pradesh are in great demand whereas Tops of Benaras, Kurtas, Rapron are liked by people. Saris of general use are being preferred by Ladies. On the other hand, Salwar Kurtis, Midi, Gown and Skirt are very much popular among girls. In gents items, one can be have the blend of tradition and modernity. The sale of gents' Kurta-Pyjama, Kurtis, Lungi and Angocha is on the rise.

Abhilasha, a student of M.Sc. finds this 'Mela' unique and appealing. She says 'Everything available here is different. I always find new things in this Mela'.
'The rates of the things available here, are fixed and there is no scope of bargaining. We get good quality items because of this' says Puja who is a student of BA First Year. Similarly, Rani, who is a housewife says, 'We get all things of general use at one place, which is the biggest speciality of this place. There is excellent variety of summer wears in this exhibition'.
