New Market echoes with enchanting songs

Bhopal, Mar 17: After making New Market `no vehicle' and `no hawkers' zone, the Bhopal Municipal Corporation has arranged more entertaining and attractive facilities to the citizens since last month.

According to the provisions made by the Corporation entertainment facility would be provided on every Sunday. As a part of it on Sunday evening the SAF 7th Battalion echoed evergreen film songs and ghazals at the bandstand. A large number of citizens and businessmen took advantage of the melodious songs.

The Corporation has done this work on war footing to make the area beautiful, facilitative and attractive. It has made arrangements for entertainment for the citizens and businessmen so that they can enjoy cultural programmes along with their purchasing.

The band party played band in the evening between 6 pm to 7 pm and presented evergreen songs and ghazals. A 40-member crew under the guidance of Rajaullah of Police Band presented old film songs.

A large number of citizens commended this initiative of Municipal Corporation.
