Who will bell the corruption cat?

Let the rest of M P. administration follow the example set by the High Court of Madhya Pradesh that recently placed a Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM, Indore) under suspension on charge of corruption. This suspension sends a strong message to the other members of the fraternity of the corrupt in the judiciary that their days are numbered.

It is an open secret that there are any number of black sheep in the state administration who regulaly indulge in corrupt practices and deserve the severest of action. This corrupt element needs to be ruthlessly weeded out for the harassed people of Madhya Pradesh to heave a sigh of relief. With coruption ruling the roost in every conceivable sphere of life the idea of removing it lock, stock and barrel seems to be a pipe dream. But somebody has to crack the whip. The billion rupee question is: Will someone? Or will they wait for the people to rise?
