Nashik, Mar 15: There is no change in India's Pakistan policy after general elections in the neighbouring country, Defence Minister A K Antony said on Saturday. "There was no change in our policy towards Pakistan," he told mediapersons at the Hindustan Aeronautics complex in Nashik.

He was replying to a question about India's stand after the February 18 polls in Pakistan, where Nawaz Sharif-led PML (N) and the Pakistan People's Party have emerged as the dominant political force.

Responding to a query on the progress of the Indo-US civil nuclear pact, Antony said a meeting of the UPA-Left committee will be held on Monday and declined to answer further questions on the deal, which is being opposed by the government's communist allies.

He said a steel hub would be set up in Nashik soon. Antony also visited the factory and workshop of SU-30 fighter aircraft along with HAL Chairman Ashok Baweja and other senior officials.
