Plane carrying Rajnath develops snag

Sagar, Mar 14: Tension prevailed today when the plane carrying BJP president Rajnath Singh could not land at the Dhana airstrip in Sagar. The BJP leader was to attend Rahas fair in Garha kota. When all efforts to make the plane land at the airstrip failed, it was taken to Bhopal where there is facility for emergency landing of any plane.

It is learnt the wheels of the plane carrying Rajnath Singh did not open at the airstrip near Sagar. The plane landed at Bhopal airport from where Mr Singh left in the State plane to Dhana. From here Mr Singh was taken in a helicopter to Garhakota. The BJP president was accompanied by State BJP chief, Narendra Singh Tomar and district in charge Kailash Vijayvargiya.

The national president of BJP arrived in Garhakota at 4.45 pm from where he left for the venue of the meeting.

The news of safe arrival of Rajnath Singh, after snag in the plane, was given by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to the people present.
