Talent gets recognition

Bhopal, Mar 14: It was an occasion of joy and excitement for the girl students of Nutan College. Their happiness was quite evident, on this event as it was Annual Award Ceremony 2007-08. The programme was organised in two stages. In the first stage, meritorious students were awarded whereas in the second stage, students of NCC and those doing exceptionally well in co-curricular activities were honoured. The programme started off with demonstration of fusion 'Veena Vadan'. The prizes were given by the Governor of the State Dr Balram Jakhar. We interviewed some award- winning students, during this programme.

Prinyanka Singh, who secured first position in M Phil says 'The credit for this award goes to my hard work and support of my teachers. I am very happy to receive this honour'.

Beena Chandravanshi has got highest marks in the degree of Bachelor of Library Science and Information. She says 'It is my honour to receive this award from the Governor. I had worked extremely hard to get this position'.

Deepika Rajput, who gives full credit to here parents for her success, says 'My parents have contributed a lot in my success. They have always supported me'.

Similarly, happiness and satisfaction was visible on the face of the winner of Dance Competition.

Bhumika Birthare, who topped in MA Sociology, says 'This is the fruit of year long hard work and I am very happy to receive this award'.
