At a programme organised today at BHE Dr Radhakrishnan Senior Secondary School, Berkhera, Ms Prabha Singh, President, BHEL Ladies Club felicitated the participants of Adult Education Programme (AEP). The programme was successfully organised by BHEL Shiksha Mandal and BHEL Ladies Club.
MC Prasad, General Manager (HR) and Chairman, BHEL Shiksha Mandal, Alok Shukla, Vice President, BSM, Avinash Chandra, Secretary, BSM, VK Gothi, administrator, BSM, office bearers of BHEL Ladies Club, Ms PA Nair, Senior Principal and teachers of the school were present on this occasion.
Ms Singh in her address lauded the combined effort of BHEL Shiksha Mandal and BHEL Ladies Club to organise Adult Education Programme for ladies of the locality. She said how many people feel the pain of not being educated throughout life despite their socio-economic positions in the society. It always proves to be an obstacle in their personality development and keeping in mind this aspect, the programme was launched. She said that the participants have gained confidence after attending the programme.
Earlier Ms Nair welcomed the guests and highlighted the objectives of the Adult Education Programme run by BSM and BHEL Ladies Club.
Ms Singh and Prasad felicitated participants of the programme. Ms Satyavati stood first, Ms Vidyavati and Ms Kamlesh stood second and Ms Rajula Devi stood third in the test. The participants, especially Ms Kanti Singh, Ms Sucheta Singh and Ms Gulabi Singh shared their views and feelings with the audience.
Ms Singh also inaugurated the new office premises of BHEL Shiksha Mandal situated in MGM Dispensary premises. The dispensary as well as the BSM Office will function from the same building.
