The State Assembly today passed by voice vote third supplementary budget of Rs 2070.36 crore for the fiscal year 2007-08 after brief debate.

A woman and her two daughters were gagged to death at their residence at Sitamau in Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh and one person was arrested in this connection, Home Minister Himmat Kothari told the Assembly today.
