Restore democracy in Pak

Problems in Pakistan are increasing due to delay in restoration of democratic system. Two bomb explosions on Tuesday in Lahore are examples how the extremist forces are taking advantage of the situation in Pakistan. One of the explosions took place near Intelligence department office. Actually, it has not been cleared so far that who would be the new Prime Minister of Pakistan. Whether it would be of Punjab or from Sindh. PMLN head, Nawaz Sharif at present does not want to be PM, but supporting PPP, his party would also participate in the government, indication to this effect has been given. At the same time the allies are united on the demand of Sharif for taking back the sacked judges of Supreme Court. This has demoralised President, Pervez Musharraf and PMLQ leaders. Earlier, Gilani's name was in news and now Zardari wants to become Prime Minister himself. Differences between PPP leader, Fahim Amin and Zardari have widened. In the changed scenario he is being charged with making relations with Musharraf and PMLQ. Whereas, Fahim says that his claim is being cancelled and there is conspiracy against him. Meanwhile, Musharraf has called National Assembly meeting on March 17. It is difficult to forecastthe result of this meeting. However it is necessary that the process of restoring democracy should be speeded up. India is keeping an eye on the scenario of its neighouring country but it is essential that tight vigil should be on the borders. The international community should take initiative to restore democracy ending all hurdles in Pakistan. Otherwise the menace of terrorism would continue there.
