Himanshu for CBI probe

By Our Staff Reporter

Bhopal, Mar 13: Himanshu Sabharwal, son of Prof H S Sabharwal on Thursday urged for a Central Bureau on Investigation (CBI) enquiry into the case.

Speaking to newspersons here Thursday, Himanshu said if my demand is not going to be fulfilled I will observe hunger strike.

He alleged that in the last 20 months State Government not only failed to conduct an impartial enquiry, and tried their best to influence witnesses involved in the case.

He also attacked on the State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan who termed death of his father as an accident. He attacked on the State Government by alleging that the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad accused in the Prof Sabharwal Murder Case received VIP treatment while serving in the jail. But not a single person from the party or from the Government ever thought to pay a visit us, he alleged.

Even the then SP Ujjain Jaydeep Prasad threatened of dire consequences to prime witness Komal Singh Sengar.

I'm once again requesting for an CBI enquiry into the mattrer. If our mercy is not heard I will observe a hunger strike either at the place where my father died or at New Delhi's India Gate or in front of State Assembly.
