Cricket's flowers in Hockey's Nursery 

Bhopal, Mar 12: Bhopal is called the Nursery of Hockey but players of several games are also putting up their latent talents through the best performance as JP Yadav, Mohanish Mishra, Ajitesh Argal etc have also proved it and brought glory the name of state capital as well as Madhya Pradesh. The Hockey of Bhopal has different history and the city produced several players since 1889 to 1980.

They also made identity of Bhopal through their various talents. Ahasin Mohammad, Mohasin Mohammad, Ahmed Sher Khan and Akhtar Hussian of the state capital took part in Olympic Games, which was organised in 1936 in Berlin. After Captain A Shakur, Shankar Laxman, Gurubaksh Singh, Kishanlal of Indore, Inam-Ur-Rehman, Habib-Ur-Rehman, Latif-Ur-Rehman played in Pakistan.

Aslam Sherkhan, Mehbub Khan, Sameer Dad, Jalaluddin also took part in Olympic. Apart from this, JP Yadav played in Senior Indian Cricket Team, Mohanish Mishra, Ajitesh Argal have also played in Junior Indian Cricket Team. Anupam Gupta of Kiran More Cricket Academy is preparing for selection in Indian Cricket Team. Chairman of Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Limited Dhruv Narayan Singh, , Gokul Singh Pathaniya, Hamidullah Khan Mamu, Pradeep Deshmukh, Shanti Jain, Dilip Awasthy, Jyoti Prakash Tyagi, Suresh Chainani, Zaved Ansari and others are giving their best contribution for its development.
