Bhopal, Mar 12: The 'mock' funeral procession of the Chairman of Indian Hockey Federation KPS Gill was taken out on Wednesday under the leadership of National Hockey Player Rehan Khan for defeating the Indian Hockey Team in qualifying round of Olympic Game-2008. The several national and international hockey players stage demonstration and they also raised slogan against KPS Gill.

After they performed last rites of KPS Gill, because he is the responsible person of Indian Hockey Federation. The funeral process of Gill was taken out from Nawab Marriage Hall, Chhawni and it was reached at Central Library. On the occasion, Mohammad Yusuf, Saleem Abbasi, Qamar Ali, Rehan Khan, Muinuddin Qureshi, Mohammad Kamal, Hasan Ali, Sharfat Ali, Iftekhar Ahmed, Abdul Zafar, Hazi Vikar Ansari, and large number of people were present.

Hockey 'death' mourned

National Hockey players and hockey lovers paid tribute to Hockey under the leadership of the former Hockey player and Corporator Mohammad Shamim to organise a prayer meeting on Wednesday at Aishbagh Stadium.

On the occasion, Mohammad Nasim Khan, Hanif Mauri, Aslam Mauri, and large number of hockey players and hockey lovers were present.
