Funny SMS: Reason to smile

Bhopal, Mar 12: In the earlier times, messages were sent through pigeons and by beating drums but times have changed and we no longer need any bird to communicate ourselves. We are experiencing revolution in the field of communication technology. In this materialistic world, the means of sending messages have also changed. We have advanced gadgets like mobile phones to contact any person in few seconds. Mobile phones facilitate sending messages at a very fast speed. Nowadays, it is very easy to send message to our near and dear ones residing in any part of the world. SMS is the most prevalent mode of sending messages through mobile phones. SMS stands for short message service. They are of different types for different occasions. There are SMS' ranging from congratulating someone to friendship to showing love. In this connection funny messages have their own charm. Such messages are very much in trend. These messages bring smile on the faces of its receiver. We have tried to know from some students about their reaction on getting any funny SMS.

What students say

Rohit Patel who is a student of Electrical Branch of Polytechnic College says, 'I send funny SMS's to my friends in large numbers. For this, I have to spend some extra money to get SMS voucher inserted. This makes sending SMS economical to me. These funny SMS' make my friends burst with laughter'.

Sunny, a Polytechnic student says 'I send several SMS to my relatives most of which are based on fun. Sending SMS through mobile facilitates us to send our message in less time. It also gives our relatives a reason to smile and share some light moments in life'.
