Crude oil import price crosses $100 mark  

New Delhi, Mar 11:
The price of crude oil India buys from international market has crossed record 100 dollars a barrel mark, putting further pressure on fuel retailers which are losing Rs 360 crore per day on auto and cooking fuel sale.
 
Sensex ends above 16,000 

Mumbai Mar 11:
The Sensex opened with a negative gap of 146 points at 15,778, and dropped to a low of 15,739 in early deals.
 
Hyundai gets export orders for 60,000 i10s  

New Delhi Mar 11:
Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) has received 60,000 export orders for its small car i10, which was launched in October 2007.
 
Units in SEZs affecting DTA-based firms 

New Delhi Mar 11:
Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India has pointed out that units under domestic tariff area (DTA) have been put in a disadvantageous position with units based in special economic zones (SEZs) selling products in the DTA market.
 
Goldstone plans solar power plant  

Hyderabad, Mar 11:
Goldstone Infratech (formerly Goldstone Teleservices) is planning to sett up a 5 Mw solar power plant with an investment of Rs 120 crore.
