Bhopal, Mar 10: Employees' relations with boss and other senior members are as important as work. People working in private sector know that to maintain healthy and friendly relations with senior is quite difficult. Healthy relations with boss are imperatively needed for prosperous and better future.

Therefore while working in office one should be professional with his job and duties.

As soon as you meet your boss greet him according to time and give him smile. Smile is a symbol of open heart, cooperation and friendship. It is said that smile costs nothing but gains everything.

Whatever job is assigned to you try to complete it on or before the deadline. In case overtime is required occasionaly, the give your best.

If one feels that due to technical snag assignment may be delayed, he must immediately inform the boss and the technical department.

Don't give personal opinion and suggestion until asked for. Try to avoid interference in boss' personal life. Sometimes giving compliment is not bad idea, but it must be according to time and situation.

While choosing medium let the boss choose first. Whatever boss chooses, make yourself comfortable in that language. Otherwise ask liberty for other language politely.

While entering the office put aside your feelings. Don't be emotional in the office premises.

It happens with everybody that personal interests/goals clash with the company's interest. In this case take one step back, other wise it will appear to be open revolt.

Above all honesty is very much important in the office. In the secrecy and police station atmosphere one cannot give his best. So be honest with your duties and with boss.

Devendra Sonpure, a software engineer, working in Iper Business Solution Private Ltd, thanked God that his boss is very much cooperative and friendly with him. He said, 'I always give warm welcome to my boss. While assigning the job he acts like real boss, but after that he even seeks my suggestion. He respects my opinion. I like it very much and in return I respect his every word.

Mayank Makode, working in private organisation said that he is always honest with his boss. He added that his boss is very much reluctant to give him leave. So whenever the boss is pleased by his deeds then he slowly forwards the application for leave.

Deepti Shrivastava, who is working as a teacher, said that she always, greet her boss. She added that she don't give her personal suggestion till her boss asks her for the same.
