Art gave me identity

Bhopal Today Team

Bhopal, Mar 9: Art plays a significant role in man's life. It is only man who can give correct form to art. We come to see several glimpses of art of the ancient times. To imagine something and to portray it through painting and art has immense significance in itself. On the occasion of International Woman's day, a programme called 'Swayam Siddha' was organised at local Bharat Bhavan where some brilliant women artists displayed their imagination, creativity and artistry in the form of paintings.

One of these artists is Usha Vishwas who belongs to New Delhi has given shape to many paintings. She has made her own position in the country as well as overseas. She has shown her talent in Europe, U.K, Germany and Dubai. She says 'I was interested in this field since childhood. I continued my passion towards art along with my studies. After completing formal education, I devoted my full time to arts. I usually make imaginary pictures in paintings. This is my second visit to Bhopal. I like this city very much. I have visited many places here. I find Upper lake very beautiful whereas places like Sanchi, Bhim Betka, Bhojpur are worth seeing. I always wanted to do something different which developed interest in me towards arts'.
