Bhopal, Mar 9: Ajitesh Argal, who played a key role in India's victory of Under-19 World Cup Cricket, was accorded a warm welcome on coming back to the native place. Ajitesh came by Jet Airways flight from Mumbai. Mayor of BMC Sunil Sood and Dr Ashok Argal were present at the Airport to welcome him. A rally in his honour in an open jeep was taken out which started from Raja Bhoj Airport and concluded at Old Campion Ground at E-2, Arera Colony during which sports lovers, office bearers of political parties, office-bearers organisations and institutes along with family members of Ajistesh participated.

Ajitesh wearing blue jeans and blue T-Shirt, was garlanded at several places on his way to home situated at Bittan Market. At Lalghati square, he was welcomed by members of Manoj Gautam Fans Club. A press conference was also organised at Hotel Palash.

In the beginning, Ajitesh was presented One lakh Rupees cash along with the title of Pride of Bhopal.

Welcome at many places

Ajitesh, accompanied by sportslovers, fans in large number headed towards Old Campion School Ground in an open jeep. In the way, he was honoured at several places. At State Bank Square, he was welcomed by St. Michael Academy. At Peergate, Secretary of Chitransh College Ashwini Shrivastava, Neelu Shrivastava accorded warm welcome to Ajitesh. At Kamla Park, he was welcomed by Urdu Akeeleyat leader Sohail Masood. Director of Sports Sanjay Chaudhary and members of Arera Cricket Academy welcomed him on reaching the ground. A programme by BDCA and Sports and Youth Welfare Department was organised in which Ajitesh and his family members, Coach Suresh Chenani were felicitated.

Anxious wait

Whole Argal family eagerly waiting for their son who brought name not only to but also to the whole nation. It was real Bollywood movie scene, worth to watch. His grandma was inquiring on the phone about the schedule of flight after every five minutes, father was taking the report of welcome party preparation, mother was busy in the kitchen to prepare food for him. Finally, news brust that Ajitesh landed in Bhopal.

Joy knows no bounds

Ajitesh Argal reached home at 5:30 pm. As soon as Ajitesh reached his doorstep his mother hugged and his grandma welcomed him in traditional way. Besides, neighbouring women showered the flowers on him.

Ajitesh likes food prepared by his mother, so his mother did. Grandma prepared Bharta and papad and aroma of Podina Chatani spread in the surrounding. Sister, Sweety presented the dishes on the table and memorable party started. Finally, dessert dishes of 'gajar ka halwa' was served. Every one exclaimed 'What a wonderful dinner it is!'

I am thankful for your warm welcome that I received in last four hours on the way to home from airport. Ajit promised to the fans that he will fulfill their dream soon and try his best and work round to clock to be member of senior Indian cricket team. I imperatively needed your blessings.
