owed to farmers by writing off loans to the tune of Rs 60,000
crore, Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram on Saturday said
he would soon explain in parliament how funds for the purpose
were to be mobilised.

ahead of Holi, the Cabinet on Friday decided to increase the
dearness allowance (DA). The DA will be increased to 47% of
gross salary from 41% earlier.
