Deoband's fatwa against
terrorism |
| The clerics of the Deoband Madarssa deserve to be thanked for coming out strongly against acts of terrorism and holding terrorism inconsistent with the teachings of Islam. How one wishes this had been done much earlier but as the saying goes, "It is better late than never." Let us hope that the terrorists will listen to the sane advice of one of the most respected seminaries of Islam, abjure the path of violence and spread the message of peace.
