Sachin Da Jawab Nahi: Classy player, memorable records

Bhopal Today Team

Bhopal, Mar 5: Master blaster of the Indian Cricket Sachin Tendulkar has uncountable records in his kitty. He has been always in news be it for his batting or special leg break bowling. He has special quality of getting people busy about discussing his game whether he performing or not. He gets out cheaply in two successive innings, that's rare, cricket experts and media remain busy predicting his retirement. But this man of unfathomable talent has the knack of bouncing back with back to back special innings.

That is what he did in the two finals CB Tri-series in Australia. He scored century in the first and missed another ton by a whisker in the second. But both of his innings ensured that India beat the Ozs handsomely and register the historic victory.

'He does not avoid being seen in social gatherings but avoid giving statements in the media. He lets his willow do the talking. Not only his team mats but players of opposition team also respect him for his matchless cricketing skills. Even they feel great playing matches with him, chatting with him and watching him bat also. He is regarded as match winner and once again that was proved by his well made. Bhopal Today Team talked to some cricket lovers and experts on the latest record of Sachin.

Cricket lovers say......

Sachin is matchless: Rajiv Mishra

In cricket world Sachin is truly matchless player. He is like God and can do any wonder any time that nobody can predict. His match was neither in past nor will be in future.

A team player: Ajay Gupta

He always played for his team. Whatever records he has against his name are result of playing for the team. Had he played for himself his career would have been finished much earlier. Now he has record of 15000 one-day runs against his name and that shows his dedication towards the game and the team.

Result of hard work: Manish Gautam

Wherever is Sachin today that is result of hard work. After the world cup people were predicting that he should hang his bat but with two back to back centuries against Bangladesh and two successive nervous nineties against South Africa proved that he is still the same run machine. He still can play a couple of years with the same brilliance. He two half centuries against South Africa were testimonials of class as the innings-I was beautifully crafted pushing the ball into gaps and stealing singles and twos to tick the scoreboard moving. In innings-II he displayed his old attacking style and snatched the match from the opponent's hands.

Experts' Comments...

Synonym of assurance

Sachin is a name, which is worshiped by people in the cricket world. Team is assured of victory until he is there in the middle. His 15000 run landmark is sufficient enough to tell his success story. Though some doubts were raised about his performance from time to time but every time he got shut his critics by his wonderful performance. Not only batting but is bowling skills are very special as he can extract more turn from the pitch as against a seasoned spinner can.

Sushil Singh Thakur, Cricket Tournament Organiser

Really a great player

Undoubtedly he is a great player. Whatever he has achieved in his 18-year career that is not something ordinary. He has seen many ups and downs in his career but he did not lose his cool and continued playing with the same spirit.

Rajiv Saxena, Under-17 cricket coach

He is genius

Even cricket's greatest player Don Bradman was also among his fans. That is enough to show Sachin's greatness. The innings against the Protease reminded us of his old golden days.

Chandrashekhar Dhakad, Joint Secretary Cricket Association
