People from all walks of life including public representatives, senior officers, workers and general public greeted Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on his birthday today. Prominent among those who wished him at his residence this morning included the State BJP President Narendra Singh Tomar; members of the Council of Ministers; the Chief Secretary RC Sahni; Director General of Police AR Pawar; Chairman of the Minorities Commission Mohd Anwar Khan; Members of Parliament; Chairpersons of government undertakings and office bearers of Bharatiya Janata Party, RSS, other affiliated organisations, social and voluntary institutions.
The day of the Chief Minister began with worship at the temple at his residence. Later he offered sweets to the visitors and thanked them. The visitors presented him bouquets and flower garlands.
Vidhansabha Speaker Ishwardas Rohani; Deputy Speaker Hajarilal Raghuvanshi; MLAs from different political parties, officers and employees of Vidhansabha also wished him at Vidhansabha.
At Mantralaya, the Chief Secretary, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries greeted the chief Minister. Office bearers and members of employees unions also met and greeted him.
Tribal folk dancers greet CM
Tribal folk dancers came here all the way from Mandla to wish the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on his birthday. They performed traditional Karma and Sela dances on the occasion. Led by Sukal Singh Maravi the male and female dancers gave a great performance. Chouhan was all praise for their talent and art. Chouhan's wife Sadhana Singh; Minister for Scheduled Castes Welfare Jagdish Dewada and officers of Scheduled Tribes Finance Development Corporation were also present on the occasion.
