Tatas to invest $500 mn to set up Wimax network  

New Delhi, Mar 4:
Tata Communications on Tuesday said it would invest 500 million dollars for setting up a Wimax network in the country to offer high speed internet, and is talking to various investors for divesting a minority stake in its retail unit.
 
Mittal may not transfer Kazakhstan assets to ONGC JV  

New Delhi, Mar 4:
Lakshmi N Mittal's proposal to transfer the Kazakhstan oil fields, which he acquired from Russia's Lukoil, to his joint venture firm with state-run ONGC Videsh Ltd has hit a fresh hurdle with a new Kazakhstan energy law putting barriers for transfer of ownership.
 
Govt not to interfere in domestic steel prices issue: Paswan 

Mumbai, Mar 4:
Union Steel Minister Ram Vilas Paswan today said his ministry has no intention to intervene in the domestic steel prices issue, since the previous experience was bitter.
 
No issue on farm loan waiver, says Nath 

New Delhi, Mar 4:
Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath today said he has no reservations on the loan waiver package for farmers announced in the Union Budget and has "congratulated" Finance Minister P Chidambaram for this measure.
 
Oil steadies around US$102 a barrel  

London, Mar 4:
Oil prices held steady on Tuesday after blasting overnight to a new record near US$104 a barrel and then falling back as traders booked profits.
