Ashoka Garden police have got success to arrest five notorious dacoits who were planning to attack at the bungalow of an industrialist's factory. Police have recovered 2 country made guns and 2 sharp weapons from the possession of the accused.
CSP of Govindpur area, Ramji Shrivastava talking to media persons gave this information today.
He said that on the information of an informer the police surrounded RAF ground in Govindpura Industrial area and arrested five notorious criminals red handed who were planning for dacoity.
Industrial Anil Mittal owns Light Electric factory in Industrial area and lives in Indrapuri. The accused were planning to attack at both the places.
The accused included Laxman Patel, resident of Damoh, Deepak Chouhan, resident of Maharashtra, Bankhedi, Hoshangabad resident, Dharmendra Sharma, Raja alias Imran, resident of Banda(UP) and Jitendra Dubey, resident of Shahanshah Garden Bhopal.
Laxman Patel is mastermind of the gang and he was conducting Mahaveer hotel in Ashoka Garden these days.
The accused Deepak Chouhan was living with his mother in Sunder Nagar.
Deepak's mother, Sumitra Chouhan had lodged a fake report on February 11 against any unknown persons in Ashoka Garden police station.
Whereas the incident had taken place due to all at sudden fire of Deepak's own gun which he had put in pocket.
He had received injuries at his private parts and toe. The accused revealed the same after his arresting.
Police have registered a case under arms act against him.
The arrested accused on January 16 had committed a loot incident with Narayan Shrivastava in his factory and had stolen equipment worth Rs 50 thousand. All the accused have been sent to court and taken on remand.
Four dacoits were caught before 2 days- Police had arrested four notorius criminals who were planning for dacoity at Alpna square petrol pump and recovered mouser, pistol and country made gun from their possession. Police had raided on the information and arrested four youths including Vicky alias Vikram, resident of Indore, Kamma alias Kamlesh, resident of Indore, Manish Ranade alias Golu, resident of Itarsi and at present he was living in Kotra, Bhopal and Unesh Begh resident of Banganga Bhopal.
One of their companion had fled away leaving his knife riding on motorcycle.
