Bush-Mush dilemma in Pak

All the tall talks of the US that they want democracy to win and sustain comes to naught in so far as the situation in Pakistan is concerned. Despite a clear trouncing through ballots, the American administration's continued support and reposing faith in Dictator Musharraf only exposes their duplicity. Though there is no clear majority for any of the opposition parties to rule Pakistan, yet the pre and post-poll understanding between Asif Ali Zardari's PPP and the PML (N) of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sherief proves that majority of the people are with them and their inclination to work with Musharraf under such circumstances is justified, taking into account the result as a referendum against the repressive Military rule of the General (Retd). The earlier Musharraf quit the better it would be to celebrate victory of democracy in that embattled nation.
