Low intensity quake hit Kashmir valley

Srinagar, Mar 1: An earthquake of moderate intensity struck Kashmir valley Friday night sparking panic among residents who rushed out of their homes. No loss of life or damage to property was reported from anywhere in the valley, officials said. The temblor, measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale, occurred ten minutes past midnight.
