Finally, the time has arrived when students are going to be put to ultimate test about their yearlong hard work and exam preparations. It was the occasion of first day of Higher Secondary examinations conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) and MP Board of Secondary Education(MPBSE). About three thousand students of CBSE appeared at Chemistry paper of Class 12th whereas some twenty thousand students of MPBSE took test of Special English. Paper of Special English was for English medium whereas Special Hindi paper was meant for Hindi medium students.
Paper was easy
Students after solving their respective papers said that the it was very good and easy and was contrary to their expectations.
Pooja Dwiwedi, a student says 'Today we had paper of Special English and it was very easy. We are going to score good marks as paper pattern has changed. There were objective-type questions in it which helps in securing better marks'.
Felt afraid before the exams
Every student feels some nervousness about unpredictability of the question paper. The same was witnessed on the faces of students of the capital. But this fear vanished on getting the question paper.
Nupur Arun says 'I was a little bit afraid prior to the exam but everything was normalised on getting exam paper. The paper was quite easy'.
Inquiries with friends after exam
Students were very curious to know about their performance. They were found asking questions from their friends and clarifying doubts. There were some who were expressing happiness on attempting paper well whereas some were busy in serious discussion.
All the papers should be easy
Students were very happy on finding their first paper easy. With this, they expect coming papers to be easy too. Neha says 'I have done well in the first paper and I expect that all coming papers would be easy to attempt'.
Yearlong preparation worked
Almost all students were happy after attempting paper. They were saying that the questions were easy as they studied throughout the year. Surendra says 'I became very happy on getting question paper as the questions in it were fully prepared by me. I am going to get good marks in this paper'.
New pattern made the paper easy
The question paper became easy with the introduction of new pattern. Accordingly, objective questions were asked which were easy to attempt to the students. These questions consume less time and fetch full marks. This was the reason of happiness for the students.
Preeti, a student says 'It was an easy paper as objective questions were incorporated in it. This pattern would help in scoring good marks in less time'.
